Now I'd like to tell You about some tips for on-line location Podcast Recording. So, they are:

1) In every environment where you do an interview, just switch on your recorder and get 15-30 seconds of ambient sound at that location.
2) Ask for your subject’s name and title at the top of the interview.
3) Include your voice only if you’re asking a question or making an important clarification.
4) Think with your ears.
5) Avoid yes/no questions. It’s helpful to direct your interview subject to answer questions in sentence format and in a declarative way.

There  are 5 tips for recording great voiceovers that apply directly to podcasts.

They include:
* Banish (computers) to a separate room or to a specially designed cupboard.
* The room needs to be as dead as possible, especially at mid and high frequencies.
* Don’t record in front of a table. The reflections off the table will colour the sound. Radio broadcasters use special ‘acoustic’ tables which are acoustically transparent.
* Make sure the page turns in the script are placed so that the VO artist doesn’t have to turn the page in the middle of a line.
* Make sure the VO artist has a glass of fresh still water to keep everything lubricated and sometimes an apple can help to reduce mouth clicks that won’t go away with a drink.

For You to know....

* When you create, edit, or delete a playlist on your Mac, PC, iPhone, or iPad, those changes will syncronise across any iTunes Match-enabled device you own. However, playlists with videos, voice memos, or PDF files will not syncronise.

* iTunes Match supports up to 10 devices — including your computer, iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, and Apple TV.

Steps for iTune matching:

1. Go to iTunes on your computer, choose iTunes Match in the sidebar, enter your Apple ID and password, and click Subscribe.

2. iTunes Match will start scanning and matching your library and uploading your music to iCloud right away.

3. When it’s finished, you’ll see an iCloud icon in your iTunes library next to those songs stored in the cloud.

4. To turn on iTunes Match on your iOS devices, go to Settings, tap Music, and turn on iTunes Match.

iTunes determines which songs in your collection are available in the iTunes Store. Any music with a match is automatically added to iCloud for you to listen to anytime, on any device. Since there are more than 20 million songs in the iTunes Store, chances are your music is already in iCloud. And for the few songs that aren’t, iTunes uploads what it can’t match (which is much faster than uploading your entire music library). Even better, all the music iTunes matches plays back from iCloud at 256-Kbps AAC DRM-free quality — even if your original copy was of lower quality.

Once your music is in iCloud, you can stream it to any of your devices. Just browse the complete list of all your music stored in the cloud. To listen to a song, tap the iCloud icon next to it and your song starts playing. You can store up to 25,000 songs in iCloud (more if songs are purchased from the iTunes Store), but only what you want to play is stored on your device. So you have immediate access to a huge music library without taking up storage space.
